Bulk retrieve studies with automatic internal cursor-based pagination. Iterates pages until the requested limit is reached. Returns a flat array of study objects and the count of studies actually returned. Access clinical trial data from ClinicalTrials.gov including study search, details, metadata, enums, statistics, and API version information. Fulfilled by Parse from clinicaltrials.gov.

Request fields
- limit (integer): Maximum number of studies to retrieve (default 100)
- fields (string): Comma-separated list of fields to return (e.g. 'NCTId,BriefTitle')
- pageSize (integer): Number of results per internal API page (max 1000, defaults to min of limit and 1000)
