Openvc: Search Investors
Search for investors by industry category slug, with optional stage and country filters. Returns a paginated list of investor summaries including name, firm type, stages, geography, check size, and thesis. Each page returns up to 20 investors. When stage or country filters are active, the scraper scans up to 10 upstream pages (200 investors) and resolves truncated stages from full profiles; total reflects the post-filter count from that scan. Use the slug field from results to fetch full profiles via get_investor_profile. Access a database of 16,000+ venture capital firms, angel groups, and other investors. Search by industry category, retrieve detailed investor profiles with team information, investment themes, and geographic focus. Fulfilled by Parse from openvc.app.

Filter investors by funding stage. Accepts a bare number (1-6), a slug (e.g. 'early-revenue', 'pre-ipo'), or the full canonical name (e.g. '3. Early Revenue'). Case-insensitive. The six canonical stages are: 1. Idea or Patent, 2. Prototype, 3. Early Revenue, 4. Scaling, 5. Growth, 6. Pre-IPO.
Filter investors by target country name (case-insensitive, e.g. 'Philippines', 'USA'). Only investors whose geography includes the specified country are returned.
Investor list category slug identifying the industry vertical.
