Tock: Resolve Venue
Resolve a venue name to its canonical Tock slug using the typeahead suggest API. Returns matching venues with slug, canonical name, city, state, country, and neighborhood — enough identifying information to confirm or reject a fuzzy match client-side without a follow-up call. Useful for resolving venues whose slugs are not predictable from their names (e.g. 'The French Laundry' → 'tfl'). The city parameter biases results toward a geographic area but does not strictly filter; results from other cities may appear. Makes one upstream call. Search for restaurants on Tock (exploretock.com) and get detailed restaurant information including accolades, FAQs, and contact details. Fulfilled by Parse from tock.com.
